We’re kind of a big deal.
We’ve worked on all kinds of big projects all over the country and won all kinds of awards.
We’re still pretty humble though.
Loren has been in the creative field for most of his life. A renowned Play-Doh sculptor in his early years, he had progressed to his fabled Crayola period by age 7. His professional graphic design career has spanned almost 20 years and now encompasses print design, web design, video production, copywriting, photography and experiential graphic design.
Geoff Sabin (Rhythm Guitar and Lead Vocals) is your typical architect by day, rock musician by night, rock musician by really-early-the-next-morning kind of guy. With over 20 years of design and architecture experience, Geoff can design a building, design everything inside and outside the building, and then design the invitations for the grand opening. He could also cater the event and provide the live music as well. Geoff infuses creative energy into everything he does — his family life, song-writing, biking, hiking, skiing, golfing, cooking... the list goes on. And on. And on.
Angie has over 15 years of graphic design experience. She‘s your go-to for brochures, newsletters, logo design...anything and everything that requires a creative eye. Her portfolio is impressive — but not as impressive as her Donnie and Marie memorabilia collection. Lunch boxes, coloring books, dolls, signed t-shirts and glossy 8x10s. If it has an Osmond on it, it’s fair game.
The outlook was brilliant for Thysse Design this day
for the mighty Casey had come to Thysse to design, to create, to play...
Casey has been designing, creating logos and developing identities for over a dozen years. He is Thysse‘s reigning "Longest Last Name" title-holder and undisputed "Most Likely to Require a Business Card Layout Edit" champion. He prefers to see his name stacked rather than using a smaller font and — don’t even think about tightening up that kerning. Casey’s sensitive that way.
Kris has a long history of creative expression and a passion for lawn mowing. Her backyard rivals most Major League ballparks in the intricacy of alternative rows, patterns, and designs. Her plaid lawn, based upon the Scottish "Royal Stewart" Tartan is perhaps her most important and groundbreaking work. This has been widely discussed, debated and accepted amongst the lawn critics in her neighborhood. Unfortunately, her most controversial lawn work, titled "Reclining Nude Eating Grapes," was not as widely accepted by the lawn critics. Kris now lives in a new neighborhood and has been asked by the authorities to curtail her lawn mowing activities. So she now creatively expresses herself here at Thysse Design.
Being the youngest member of the Thysse Design team, Katie keeps the rest of us in check when we’re feeling too hip and cool. Also, she has let us know that "hip" and "cool" are neither hip nor cool. Katie is in with the "ing" crowd — especially when it comes to "ing"ing outdoors. Running, kayaking, hiking, camping, biking, skiing, snowboarding and wandering the local nature preserve on her lunch break are all “ings” she enjoys. When not outside-ing, Katie is expanding her wide-ranging and eclectic taste in music, while hitting every open mic she can find.
To sum up Randall ... he loves Punk Rock, hates Punk’d, is indifferent about Daft Punk, and just smiles and sighs when asked about Punky Brewster. Punk Rock helps Randall deal with the angst and pain of being a Vikings fan while forming the soundtrack to his many Soleil Moon Frye tribute videos. When not honing his substantial graphic design and illustration talents here at Thysse Design, Randall is working on his most under-appreciated talent, beating Contra on the SNES in 20 minutes flat.
